Production/Assembly/Machine Operator

The person in this position will have exposure to various production, assembly and machine operations during their employment at Behrens. You will earn a very competitive hourly wage, paid weekly, competitive benefits after 90 days. Your safety is first and the customer second. You could run wire cutting machines, stamping press machines, crimping machines, assemble simple parts into assemblies for the next operation. You may be a team member in a manufacturing cell with other co-workers or transport materials from one process to another process. Promotional opportunities exist for our team members first. We run both first and second shift manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications:

Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
Prior experience working in a fast paced manufacturing facility
Ability to pass a strict background check
Desire to grow skills and machining abilities
Good attendance record with current/most recent employer
Ability to lift 25-40 pounds on a periodic basis to successfully perform the required duties
Ability to read and follow both written and verbal instructions
Good communication skills with supervisor and co-workers
